The Civil Protection Department at the Sapienza Career Days

Today, January 25 the Civil Protection Department Il Dipartimento took part at the Sapienza Career Days, in the "Humanities and Social Sciences" date.

The topic of risk communication was the focus of the information activity held at the desk set up in the Museum of Classical Art in the Humanities Building. Technicians and experts in the field of institutional and digital communication from the Department brought their experience and discussed with the students and graduates from the Faculties of Humanities and Philosophy and Political Science, Sociology and Communication.

The Universal Civil Protection Service 2022-2023 project "I Don't Take Risks 365: Communication", promoted by the Department together with the Cima Research Foundation, was the core of the meetings: by the next 10 February, young people between 18 and 28 years old may apply to become volunteers and spend a year working in information and communication activities to spread Civil Protection good practices by sharing the new generations' perspective on social media.

The day offered the opportunity for young people to learn more about the functioning of the Civil Protection System and to deepen their knowledge of the different professions operating at the Department, from technical-scientific to legal, international relations and voluntary work, and gave the Department's staff the chance to bring their reality closer to possible future operators of the National Civil Protection Service.
