"Forest fires: what strategies to deal with them?" new webinar I don't take risks on June 27
Live streaming of the discussion will be available on the campaign's YouTube channel

Fires have the potential to affect the entire country, damaging or even destroying everything in their path. These are forest fires, the pivotal theme of the webinar "Forest fires: what strategies to deal with them?" which will be live streamed on June 27 from 7 PM on the I don't take risks YouTube channel.
The scheduled event comes just days after the launch of the AIB - Forest Firefighting 2023 campaign, which started on June 15 and runs until next September 30. Officially introduced with the test that took place at the National Days on May 20 and 21, forest fire risk has already been the focus of many organized squares in Italy in the past weeks.
Forest fires are a particularly challenging topic, both because of the dangers they pose and because of the number of people involved in the management of forest and natural heritage. For this reason, representatives of the Regions, the Civil Protection Department and the Centers of Competence, the three entities constantly engaged on forest fire fighting activities will gather at the meeting.
Focus of the speakers will be some crucial aspects such as forest fire risk factors, both on global and local scales, operational procedures and the risk bulletin, what it is and why it is considered an extremely important forecasting tool. Space will then be devoted to twinning, as part of the principle of subsidiarity between regions, and good practices to take risks mitigation.
"Forest fires: what strategies to deal with them?" will be the 11th event in the format introduced in the national campaign starting last year. Through the use of simple, effective and never boring language, the I don't take risks webinars are created with the aim of conveying complete and timely information to volunteers participating in the campaign, and to citizens, so as to develop a greater awareness and provide interesting insights to enhance their knowledge of the risks on the territory.
