Genoa Science Festival kicks off
An interactive exhibition dedicated to I don't take risks is on schedule

The Genoa Science Festival kicks off today, October 20, the event dedicated to the spread of scientific culture that will transform the Ligurian capital into a large cultural space until November 1, with events throughout the city.
The I don't take risks campaign is present with an interactive exhibition at Palazzo Ducale. Until Thursday, October 27, visitors will learn more about the risks affecting the Italian territory, good civil protection practices and actions to follow to reduce risk.
The exhibition runs along an itinerary divided into three spaces. First, images, videos and interactive maps allow visitors to familiarize with the concepts of risk and danger of flood, tsunami, earthquake and volcanic risk. In the second space, on the other hand, it is possible to better understand the effects of natural events on the territory with three plastic models simulating a flood, earthquake and tsunami. Finally, in the third part, the public can test the information acquired during the visit by participating, individually or in teams, in an interactive quiz with their own devices or tablets in the exhibition area.
The exhibition ends with the I don't take risks- flood tent, timeline and roll-up on the meteo-hydro warning system - located inside the Sala Patria, where campaign information materials will also be available.
The exhibition is open to the public on October 20, 21, 25 and 26 from 9 AM to 1 PM; October 22 and 23 from 10 AM to 7 PM; and October 24 and 27 from 9 AM to 4 PM. Reservations are required for school or group visits. More information available at the following website: www.festivalscienza.it
