On Saturday, Oct. 15 and Sunday, Oct. 16, I don't take risks will once again animate Italian squares. Also for its 12th edition, the communication campaign on best practices of civil protection will see the involvement of organized civil protection volunteers, institutions and the scientific community.
Thousands of volunteers belonging to 800 Organizations, including national and territorial associations, will meet citizens in more than 600 municipalities to inform them about the risks affecting the territory, remind them of the most significant events that have occurred in the past and spread the rules of conduct to be adopted before, during and after an earthquake, flood or tsunami.

I don't take risks is not just the day in the square, but a permanent communication campaign that lives throughout the year, on the ground and online: each association, in fact, also presides over its own digital square on social media where it can "meet" citizens on a daily basis to talk about civil protection issues, increase risk awareness and help create resilient communities.

Also this year, the Department of Civil Protection, Anpas, Ingv, ReLUIS and Cima Foundation will be an active part of the National streaming, a major digital event that on Saturday, October 15, will feature experts in the field - representatives from the world of civil protection and scientific research - gathered together to spread the values of the campaign, with a particular focus on the theme of prevention.
