"Serate di protezione civile": volunteers meet citizens in Empoli
On March 27, a square of I don't take risks is also planned

To raise awareness among local communities about the risks affecting the territory, "Serate di protezione civile" will take lace in Empoli, Tuscany, on March 23, 27 and 30.
The initiative, promoted by the Empoli and Castelfiorentino Public Assistance Units, in collaboration with the Regional Civil Protection, is an opportunity to introduce the Civil Protection System to citizens and bring young people closer to the world of organized volunteering through meetings and practical demonstrations.
Specifically, the March 27 event will focus on the themes of prevention and good civil protection practices, with an I don't take risks square set up at the Public Assistance operational headquarters in Empoli.
With the support of volunteer communicators from the Croce Bianca di Orentano, citizens will have the opportunity to learn more about earthquake and flood risks and the rules of conduct to adopt. Part of the meeting will focus on explaining the contents of the new Municipal Civil Protection Plan.
The three information sessions are open to all citizens and free of charge. To participate, you can contact the Empoli and Castelfiorentino United Public Assistance Societies by phone or by filling out the online form at: https://forms.gle/Zed9ig8E4iBMEUBA7
