The multi-risk square of I don't take risks with the Civil Protection volunteers of the Friuli Region participated too

The Trieste installment of Terremoti d'Italia, a traveling exhibition organized by the Civil Protection Department of which "I don't take risks" has been an integral part for years, concluded on October 8. The occasion was "Trieste Next", the scientific research festival dedicated to innovation and research, Sharper Researchers' Night and the 2022 edition of the Barcolana sailing race.
A section of the exhibition was dedicated to the themes of I don't take risks. Volunteers from the Civil Protection of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia Region welcomed visitors who arrived at the spaces of Trieste's Porto Vecchio - Convention Centre in a multi-risk square, providing them with key information on earthquake and tsunami risks.
Through simple and direct language, conveyed through a stimulating and participatory approach, the volunteers guided citizens to discover the history of the area and the good practices to adopt. The opportunity also served to illustrate the Municipality of Trieste's Civil Protection plan and provide information on the risk scenarios in the area.
"Terremoti d'Italia", after Trieste will move to Reggio Calabria for "Exe Sisma Stretto," a national exercise that will involve many coastal municipalities on the territory of Calabria and Sicily with a large simulation to test the entire organizational machine of relief and safety systems present in the areas involved in the event of an earthquake and tsunami. Here too, the "I don't take risks" volunteers will spread knowledge about the risks affecting the country.
