Saturday July 15 marks the end of "L'Aquila 2023", the school camp for young people aged 16 to 25 organised in the Abruzzo capital by the ANA-Associazione Nazionale Alpini. During the two weeks of activities, the young people had the opportunity to attend theoretical lessons and test themselves with practical exercises on civil protection issues, learning from people committed daily to activities of forecasting, prevention and emergency response.

The last day will also see the creation of an I don't take risks square, organised by the Abruzzo Region and dedicated to tsunami, earthquake and flood risks. Civil protection good practices will be explained not only by volunteers trained on the themes of the campaign, but also by young people participating in the Universal Civil Service project "I don't take risks 365: the population".

The project is part of the programme "I don't take risks 365: good civil protection practices", promoted by ANPAS and implemented together with the Civil Protection Department and CIMA Foundation, with the aim of involving the new generations in spreading the culture of prevention, raising awareness and informing them about the risks affecting the territory.
